Practice Description
Tedd’s practice is concentrated in business and real estate law, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, real estate investment, and information technology law. In his practice, Tedd draws extensively upon the business practices and principles of wealth creation and value investing of Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Marty Whitman and Benjamin Graham.
Tedd handles a wide range of matters relating to business organizations, including formation, organizational structure, owner/shareholder relationships, business succession and related issues. He has represented a number of our clients in all phases of their business operations from formation to operations to sale.
Tedd represents business owners of all sizes: from start-ups to large, established companies. Tedd’s emphasis in the corporate area is large, closely-held businesses, with extensive experience in family-owned business and the unique challenges they face.
He also represents real estate owners and developers in acquisition, development and sale of real estate. His experience in this area includes negotiations of purchase and development agreements, assemblages, financing and related transactions. Tedd also has experience with real estate issues arising in a difficult economic environment, including work outs, restructuring and purchases of distressed real estate and debt.
Tedd has extensive experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry. He represents a major multi-national real estate developer and casino operator with hotel and casino projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He also represents a number of Southwestern Ohio’s preeminent restaurateurs.
Tedd’s information technology practice involves representation of software developers, internet service providers, application service providers and Web site designers.
Tedd has a sophisticated health law practice in which he represents a number of physicians and physician groups. He has handled the consolidation of many medical groups in Southwestern Ohio. Tedd represents physicians in negotiations with physician groups, hospitals, and managed care organizations. His work in this area includes the creation of a large hospital-owned medical group, the formation of a number of Cincinnati’s largest single specialty medical groups and general ongoing representation of these clients.
Awards and Honors
Tedd was selected to Woodward/White's Best Lawyers in America® for 2010. He was also the recipient of the Beacon of Light Humanitarian Award from Lighthouse Youth Services and of the Kate S. Mack Award from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.

Community Involvement
Active in a number of community organizations, Tedd is co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Most Valuable Kids of Greater Cincinnati, a non-profit organization that offers charitable kids organizations access to sporting and cultural events through an on-line ticket donation system at www.mostvaluablekids.org.
Tedd also serves on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.
Personal Interests
Tedd enjoys skiing, hiking, golf, movies, attending Bengals games and running.
