If you are in constant communication with David, day and night, it likely means you’re in the middle of an intense transaction. David’s relaxed approach when talking with clients reflects his emphasis on keeping clients grounded and as relaxed as possible at a time when stress can be ratcheting up.
And David likes to talk sports because, well, sports are a particular passion of David’s. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, David remains actively involved with his alma mater. And that means rarely missing a Bearcats game.
When it comes to his work on behalf of his clients, though, David can be intensely serious—known for being a tenacious advocate.
Being in the middle of a transaction, for instance, can be a tiring, time-intensive process that can lead to “deal fatigue” for clients. David relishes his job as their gatekeeper, expertly handling the tiniest of details while shielding his clients from unnecessary work and worry—ensuring every step of the process runs smoothly and is completed as efficiently as possible.
Exceeding expectations is the bedrock of David’s approach to servicing client needs and solving client problems. When the work is urgent or time-sensitive, he puts in late nights and arrives at the office before sunrise, getting the job done by consistently over-delivering on what he promises.
In addition to handling transactional work, David assists clients with day-to-day governance and operational questions and issues.
At Katz Teller, David is a member of the firm’s recruiting and social committee.
