Evan T. Nolan
Frequent reunions with his grade school buddies from the West Side of Cincinnati, regaling his high school glory days, four flourishing years as the college mascot, and culminating in his greatest achievement—persuading his law school sweetheart to move north to Evan’s hometown from the Southern warmth of Georgia to cope with the Ohio cold—Evan meets each new day with passion and loyalty, aspirational traits that have guided him throughout his life.
Today Evan’s passion and loyalty have been joyfully overwhelmed by two energetic, young daughters and have extended to his spouse’s work as Executive Director of Dress for Success Cincinnati. Away from the house, you will often find Evan sharing his time and energy on the board of his neighborhood community council or any number of committees at his family’s church and occasionally dabbling in local politics.
Evan brings that same passion and loyalty to his clients and colleagues at Katz Teller. Being accessible, listening closely, digesting the issues and the client perspective, Evan focuses the team to drive efficient results. For Evan, the greatest professional reward is to play a productive role in achieving a client’s goal and have everyone on the team ready to do it again.
Evan began his legal career as a legislative fellow in U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s office on Capitol Hill. Upon returning to Cincinnati, he has built a practice revolving around private company acquisitions, general corporate governance matters, and real estate transactions. His passion and loyalty have served his clients well, from private equity backed rollups and emerging growth company acquisitions to private company succession planning and meeting the everyday needs of the firm’s corporate clients.
