Jody Brant Named Katz Teller President/CEO

For the first time in two decades, Katz Teller has a new President/CEO.

Effective September 2020, Joel “Jody” Brant succeeded Mark Jahnke in becoming only the third President/CEO of Katz Teller in its 40 year existence.

Jody’s roots run deep at Katz Teller, having been practically raised at the firm from childhood. His father, Joe Brant, was a founding member of the firm and his uncle, Bob Brant, who has worked at the firm since its inception, is still practicing in the tax and estate/wealth planning departments. Jody's soft-spoken, value based leadership style will help maximize the strengths of our attorneys and staff so that Katz Teller can continue to deliver the superior results that our clients have come to expect.

Mark Jahnke’s tenure at the helm of Katz Teller has come to an end after 20 years, but that doesn’t mean his calendar is now wide open. Mark will continue to practice law at Katz Teller and is also taking on a new challenge—being named Chair of the Board at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

“No one has benefitted more from being a part of this firm than me. I really can’t express how happy and proud I am to be a part of this firm,” Jahnke stated in a recent email to the firm. He went on to thank everyone for their help and support over the past 20 years and expressed his eagerness to continue working for Katz Teller for many years to come.
